“We’d love this place. The bears were so cute here. Also, they didn’t mess with our vehicles at all either.”

“Great cabin, was greeted by some black bears when we arrived. Close to anything you want to do in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Quiet area with lots of wildlife.”

House rules

8 guests maximum. No pets, no parties or events, no smoking, vaping, drugs or fireworks. All guests must be 25 or over unless with a parent or guardian. No trailers or RVs.

Bears

It’s common to see bears between spring and fall. Keep windows, doors and trash cans locked and food inside the cabin, and please don’t feed them. They’re cute but not cuddly.

Winter driving

Any vehicle is fine in spring, summer and fall. If it snows, 4-wheel drive or tire chains are recommended. Some roads are steep, narrow or winding.

What’s provided

A starter kit of K-cups, paper towels, toilet paper, hand/body/hair/dish soap, detergents, garbage bags, salt, pepper, foil and plastic wrap. 8 bath towels and washcloths plus 8 hot tub towels.

Please bring zip-lock bags, cooking oils, coffee filters/grounds, sweetener, cream, tea and groceries.

Hot tub & septic

Keep the hot tub cover on when not in use; no soaps, lotions or oils, and don’t stand on the cover. The cabin is on a septic system, so only toilet paper can be flushed.

Holiday checkouts

Check-outs aren’t available on April 20, July 4, November 27 or December 25, so our cleaners can be with their families.
